This prize drawing (the “Drawing”) is sponsored by the Belmont Shore Business Association, 200 La Verne Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90803 (“Sponsor”). Sponsor provides the prizes. Sonar Connections, Inc. (“Sonar”) is the promotional partner and administers the Drawing on Sponsor’s behalf. This Drawing is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, and is not associated with, Apple Inc. or Google LLC.
This is a free opportunity drawing. No purchase, payment, or contribution of any kind is required to enter or to win, and no consideration of any kind is accepted in exchange for entry.
Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who are present at the Stroll & Savor event on 2nd Street, Long Beach, California during the Entry Period. Employees, officers, directors, board members, owners, and contractors of Sponsor and of Sonar, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible.
Entries are accepted Wednesday, August 19, 2026 and Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM Pacific Time each day. Each day is a separate Entry Period with its own drawing. Entries do not carry over from one day to the next.
Download the free Sonar app on your phone and complete registration. The app will ask whether you would like to enter the opportunity drawing – tap to accept, and your entry is submitted. You do not need to show your phone to anyone. Limit one (1) entry per person per day.
Four (4) prizes total, each one (1) $25 gift card, provided by Sponsor. Two (2) prizes are awarded on August 19 and two (2) on August 20. Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $100.00. Sponsor selects the gift card issuer at its discretion. Prizes are non-transferable, and no cash equivalent or substitution is offered, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. Gift cards are subject to the issuing company’s own terms and conditions.
Two (2) winners are drawn each day. Both are selected in a single random drawing conducted at approximately 9:00 PM Pacific Time, at the close of that day’s Entry Period, under the supervision of a person 18 years of age or older. Every entry received that day is eligible for both of that day’s prizes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received that day.
Winners do not need to be present to win. Winners are notified within twenty-four (24) hours of the drawing by an announcement in the app and by phone call or text message to the phone number used at registration. A winner who cannot be reached, or who does not claim their prize, within seven (7) days of the drawing forfeits the prize. Sponsor may then select an alternate winner or award no prize, at its discretion. Instructions for claiming the prize are included in the notification.
Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on their prize.
The information you provide to enter – your name and phone number – is collected by Sonar Connections, Inc. and shared with Sponsor. No email addresses are collected for this Drawing. Your information is used solely to administer this Drawing, notify winners, and deliver prizes. It is not sold or transferred to any other party. By entering, you consent to being contacted by phone call or text message about this Drawing. To request deletion of your entry information, contact info@belmontshore.org. Entry does not sign you up for marketing.
Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and Sonar to use the winner’s first name and city for promotional purposes without further compensation. Use of a winner’s photograph or likeness requires separate written consent.
By entering, entrants agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Drawing. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these Rules, and to cancel, suspend, or modify the Drawing if it cannot be conducted as planned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, or misdirected entries.
By entering, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, Sonar, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising out of participation in this Drawing or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
This Drawing is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
