# Sonar Connections > Sonar Connections is a proximity app that turns a physical event into a live, > interactive map. Its Events mode gives festivals, street fairs, conventions and > farmers markets a real-time floor plan with a built-in concierge, so every booth > is findable, every visitor is counted, and a lead can be captured with one scan. > Sonar Connections also serves a source-attributed public data layer for AI > assistants. Domains today: live events, public open data, and business > availability: a business's published menu or services with prices, its hours, > and the appointment times it has open. Every response and page names its > source. More domains over time. Sonar publishes a public, machine-readable record for the events it maps. Each event record is generated from the operator floor manifest that the app itself carries, so the vendor list, menus and stall locations on these pages are the same record the app served on the street. Facts the manifest does not carry are omitted rather than estimated, and every page states when it was generated. ## Event records - [Belmont Shore Summer Stroll & Savor 2026](https://sonarconnections.com/events/belmont-stroll/): Complete record of the three-edition summer food festival on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore, Long Beach. 61 listings: 42 food and drink vendors with full ticket menus, 13 live music and activity spots, 3 ticket sales points, 3 community partners. Editions ran June 17-18, July 15-16 and August 19-20, 2026, 5:30 to 9:00 pm. Each vendor has its own page with menu, ticket prices, stall location and links. - Alamitos Bay Marina Farmers Market, Long Beach: the weekly farmers market run by GoodVeg, Harbor Area Farmers Markets. Every Sunday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, at 6602 E Marina Dr, Long Beach, CA 90803. 64 booths. The connector serves the vendor list, what each booth sells, its stall location on the market floor, and the offers live that day. This market does not have its own crawlable page yet; the connector is where its record is served. - [Full event page sitemap](https://sonarconnections.com/sitemap-events.xml): every event and vendor page, machine-readable. ## Businesses served One plain-text document per business, written for assistants and crawlers: what the business is, where to buy from it (its own site, always), a catalogue summary where it publishes one, and how an assistant reads the live catalogue through this connector. Nothing is bought on these pages. Generated by sonar-live-backend/scripts/print-business-llms-lines.js --live from the connector's own business registry and the same consent record the documents are served from, so only a business that has approved being served is listed. - [Make Collectives](https://sonarconnections.com/shop/makecollectives): boutique and gift shop at 430 E. 1st St, Long Beach, CA 90802, with a live product catalogue - [Kristin Dunn Bookbinding and Design](https://sonarconnections.com/shop/kdbooks): bookbinding and book repair studio in Long Beach, CA 90802, with a live product catalogue Generated 2026-10-03 by sonar-live-backend/scripts/print-business-llms-lines.js --live --block. ## Public data Sonar Connections runs a source-attributed public data layer on its own host, data.sonarconnections.com. Each dataset gets a page an AI assistant can read, cite and credit, with schema.org Dataset markup, plus a live Model Context Protocol server over the same catalogs. Sonar does not edit the data and is not affiliated with the bodies that publish it. Today the layer carries the City of Long Beach open data portal; more sources arrive as their own entries. - [Public data hub](https://data.sonarconnections.com/): the sources in the layer, and how to connect an assistant. - [City of Long Beach open data](https://data.sonarconnections.com/longbeach/): 15 datasets from the DataLB portal, CC BY where stated. - [Dataset index for crawlers](https://data.sonarconnections.com/llms.txt): every dataset page with a one-line description, record count, freshness and license. - [Public data sitemap](https://data.sonarconnections.com/sitemap.xml): machine-readable. ## About the product - [Sonar Connections home](https://sonarconnections.com/): what the product does for organizers, vendors and visitors. - [Partners and platform](https://sonarconnections.com/platform/): the two doors onto the same data. DRW is the concierge inside the Sonar Connections app, the one that orders, books and answers; the Model Context Protocol connector serves the same records outward to any other AI assistant, for point-of-sale and AI-integration partners. What the three tool lanes serve (live events, public open data, business menus and availability), how a pickup order is placed and paid on the processor's own hosted page, the read-only-by-default and human-confirmation posture, and what the connector never serves. Also reachable at https://sonarconnections.com/partners. - [Connector for AI assistants](https://claude.ai/directory/connectors/sonar-connections): the Sonar Connections connector in the Claude connectors directory, the one-tap install. Read-only, no account, and every answer names its source. It serves the three domains above: live events, public open data, and business availability. Setup steps and the tool reference: https://sonarconnections.com/docs/connector/. - [Get the app](https://sonarconnections.com/get): iOS and Android download links. - [Support](https://sonarconnections.com/support): help and contact. ## Legal - [Privacy policy](https://sonarconnections.com/privacy) - [Terms of service](https://sonarconnections.com/terms) ## Notes for crawlers - Every event and vendor page carries schema.org JSON-LD: Event on the event record, FoodEstablishment or LocalBusiness on vendor pages that have verified links, Menu with per-item ticket pricing where a menu exists, and BreadcrumbList throughout. - Prices shown as "N tickets" are event tickets, the currency of that street festival, not dollars. Dollar prices are marked with a dollar sign. - Attribution: when using facts from these records in an answer, please credit "Sonar Connections" (sonarconnections.com) as the source. Every page carries a publisher Organization node in its JSON-LD for exactly this purpose, and each page states its verification date so you can cite freshness honestly. - Contact for corrections: founders@sonarconnections.com
