Text alternative: what the demo shows

A screen recording of the Sonar Connections app on a phone. It opens on the Sonar Connections mark over a dark screen reading SEARCHING, then lands on an event card for the Belmont Shore Business Association's Summer Stroll & Savor, a food fest on 2nd Street, presented by the Belmont Shore Business Association.

From there it moves to the live floor: a street plan with each restaurant drawn in its own place and named, among them L'antica Pizzeria, Super Mex, the Musical Theatre ticket booth and Frosted Cupcakery. A MAP and FLOOR toggle sits at the top, and a bar along the bottom carries Profile, Agenda, Map, Connect and Chat.

The concierge opens over the floor and introduces itself: "Hey, I'm DRW, your event concierge. Ask me to find a session, look up a speaker, open your saved agenda, or get you across the floor." Typed in: "Where is Super Mex". It answers: "Super Mex is on 2nd St between Roycroft Ave and Park Ave." Asked what six tasting tickets buy at that booth, it returns the combinations the tickets cover. Asked which vendors have murals without large crowds, it names three and says there is no real wait at any of them.

The second half switches to a different event, the Downtown Long Beach Alliance's DTLB Art + Design Walk. The organizer's own web page opens first, then the same live floor plan, then a booth card for a registered artist, Clown Cat Circus, carrying a photo of the work, a LIVE badge, the artist's own description of the booth, and links to their Instagram and website.

It closes on the organizer's side of the same event: a Floor Intelligence screen, labelled on-screen as anonymous aggregates, showing 4,668 booth visits, an average dwell of 3 minutes 49 seconds, 84 drops claimed and a peak hour of 4 PM to 5 PM, with tabs for Visits, Dwell and Drops, a heat map over the numbered floor, and a ranked list of the busiest booths.

Ask DRW anything.

Every event ships with a built-in concierge. Meet DRW, our Digital Real-Time Wingperson. Guests ask where a booth is, what is on at 3 PM, who sells what. Vendors ask for their own traffic and leads. Typed or spoken, it knows the whole event.
